Before this we learnt about countable and uncountable noun..
Now,I would love to introduce what is Collective Noun..

Collective Noun are noun that refer to things or people as a unit.
Collective Noun, a special class, names group(things),composed of members(usually people).

examples:
A class of students.

A team of players.

A pair of shoes.

A choir of singers.

A nest of rabbit.

A litter of kittens.

So, what is countable and uncountable noun??





COUNTABLE NOUN
UNCOUNTABLE NOUN
       A countable noun (or count noun) is a noun with both a singular and a plural form, and it names anything (or anyone) that you can count

       A non-countable noun (or mass noun) is a noun which does not have a plural form, and which refers to something that you could (or would) not usually count

EXAMPLES OF COUNTABLE NOUN :


CHAIR

BICYCLE

EXAMPLES OF UNCOUNTABLE NOUN:

COFFEE

SUGAR
