Before this we learnt about countable and uncountable noun..

Now,I would love to introduce what is Collective Noun..

Collective Noun are noun that refer to things or people as a unit.

Collective Noun, a special class, names group(things),composed of members(usually people).

examples:

A class of students.

A team of players.

A pair of shoes.

A choir of singers.

A nest of rabbit.

A litter of kittens.

WH-Questions

Now students..let's focus on WH-Questions. There are 5 of them.. They are :-

Wh-words	Usage	Example
Who	to inquire about a person e.g. name, occupation, title, etc.	Who is in the car?
Whom	to inquire about a person as an   object of a verb Usually uses; To whom, For whom, With whom	To whom are you giving the present? With whom are you going to the picnic?
Whose	to ask about ownership	Whose dirty shirt is on the floor?
Where	to ask about a place	Where can I have my car fixed?
When	to ask about time	When is the National Day celebration?
Why	to ask for a reason	Why are you late today?
Which	to ask for choice, to compare	Which is your favourite fruit, rambutan or durian? Which tourist spot is more popular, Malacca or Cameron Highlands?
What	to ask about people or things	What can you tell me about the new book?
How	to ask for quantity, distance, weight, height, value, etc.	How much of sugar do you want in your drink? How far is Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan?

now,lets see how much do you understand..

Decide whether these nouns are countable (U) or uncountable (C).

The children are playing in the garden. U/C

I don't like milk. U/C

I bought 3 bottles of mineral water for our picnic. U/C

My father drink 2 big glasses every morning. U/C

We need some glue to fix this vase. U/C

COUNTABLE NOUN	UNCOUNTABLE NOUN
•       A countable noun (or count noun) is a noun with both a singular and a plural form, and it names anything (or anyone) that you can count	•       A non-countable noun (or mass noun) is a noun which does not have a plural form, and which refers to something that you could (or would) not usually count

EXAMPLES OF COUNTABLE NOUN :
